JGMC Advisor Role Description:
As an Advisor, you will be in charge of creating, organizing, and holding events within your respective chapters. You will also be responsible, along with others on the leadership team, of welcoming new members, answering member questions, and keeping the page active through posts. You will be required to attend the monthly leadership meetings via Zoom or Google Meet. Although it is not mandatory, we encourage everyone on the leadership team to attend other Advisor events whenever possible!
JGMC Advisor Expectations:
As an Advisor, you are representing our chapter, club, and our name personally and through your vehicle. Because of this, you are expected to hold yourself and your online behavior to a high standard. You are also expected to be familiar with and have a good understanding of JGM club values and the JGM Code of Ethics which have been included in this packet. You should hold yourself to the highest standards and ensure that you are never representing Jeep Girl Mafia in a negative light. Wheel legal, tread lightly, and respect others. There shall be no events or posts that could be considered political in any way or offensive to any specific demographic. You are expected to be welcoming to ANY and ALL members of the community.
Club Advisors are women that are:
- Go-Getters
- Exhibit leadership, initiative, dependability, discipline and enthusiasm.
- Demonstrate strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
- Be friendly, positive, kind to others, does not speak negatively towards other clubs or members.
- Value and represent the Jeep Girl Mafia way.
- Have a commitment to diversity and cultural pluralism and being welcoming to all those around them.
- Know and learn about the off-road community- whether you plan to off road or not, that may change down the road!
- A Jeep Girl Mafia Club Advisor is a leadership opportunity for Jeep Girl Mafia members who are dedicated to serving and representing JGM. An Official Jeep Girl Mafia Club Advisor will represent ALL that is JGM.
